Rochester is an unincorporated town of approximately 12,000 people in the west-central portion of the state of Washington. 
It is about mid-way between Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon and is only four miles west of Interstate 5 on State Route 12.

This website is designed as a central place where you will find information about items of interest to residents of Rochester, Washington.  For those who have previously lived here or are planning on moving here you also will find a wealth of information about the community.

   Notice: Outdoor burning in Thurston County is prohibited between July 15th and October 15th.  Permits can be obtained at the fire station on Sargent Road and on-line at: http://www.westthurstonfire.org/burn-permits during normal week-day hours after October 15th.
